{"id":21,"date":"2022-10-19T13:00:04","date_gmt":"2022-10-19T13:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sandtautos.net\/?page_id=21"},"modified":"2026-07-31T14:33:57","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T14:33:57","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sandtautos.net\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>S&amp;T Autos was established in 1984 by Steve Leighfield, he moved to our current premises in 1990<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We are a small family run business who strive to deliver a high quality of workmanship on vehicle repairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our staff consists of<\/strong> <strong>two<\/strong> <strong>technicians who are also MOT testers, and two receptionists who handle bookings and ordering parts for the work carried out in the workshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our equipment in the workshop consists of three 2 poster ramps and one ATL scissor lift which is used for MOT\u2019s<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We have a comprehensive range of diagnostic equipment for fault finding and service light resetting, an air-conditioning re-gas machine and an air-conditioning anti-bacterial cleaning machine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We can source virtually all tyre makes and sizes from three different suppliers nationally and can normally get and fit the same day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We also offer a service by Blackcircles (see our <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandtautos.net\/index.php\/click-fit-tyres\/\"><strong>Tyre click and Fit <\/strong><\/a><strong>page)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We are fully approved by&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.motorcodes.co.uk\/motorist\/the-codes\/service-and-repair-code-faq.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>The Motor Industry Code Of Practice<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;and have been established in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, for over 30 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>During that time we have established a fine reputation for service, quality and value.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>S&amp;T Autos was established in 1984 by Steve Leighfield, he moved to our current premises in 1990 We are a small family run business who strive to deliver a high quality of workmanship on vehicle repairs.
